10:15 AM: Heather is now open with the Moon, Pluto, and Twilight gates only (exit via the Heather Chair as the runout is closed).
8:55 AM: Cascade and Vista are on visibility standby, Heather under evaluation.
5:05 AM: Today's Winter Weather Advisory is an indication of what to anticipate at Your Mountain Home this fine April Fools' Day. We're expecting heavy snowfall and breezy conditions, with the heaviest dose of snowfall anticipated to fall during the day today. This is one of those "bring a shovel for the parking lot" days, which are a rare treat in April. If fresh tracks and storm skiing are your jam, come on up and join us for a day in the white room. Heavy weather means upper mountain lifts are not on the menu today, and Hood River Express remains closed due to unfavorable surface conditions, so join us at the Main Lodge as we fool around with some April showers of the crystalline kind. Heather is likely today, depending on how the storm shakes out, so bring a buddy and your shovel, probe, and beacon to make the most of your first April day of the season. We'll see you soon!
Looking at the next couple of weeks, we'll be open daily until April 12th. Forecasts are calling for up to a foot of snow in the Wednesday-Thursday time frame. We've got our fingers crossed. It sure would be wonderful to finish up the season with the slopes sparkling white! We appreciate all of you keeping up the stoke and snow dances this season. We'll see you on the slopes today from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Important information about Heather Canyon: Limited gates in Heather Canyon have been opened. Clark Canyon and Accordion are closed due to un-skiable/rideable terrain that would hinder our ability to provide rescue. This is expert terrain. Choose runs and conditions suited to your ability. Only enter through open gates. Be aware that marked and unmarked cliffs, cornices, creeks, hazards and obstacles exist. Expect variable and changing conditions. Avalanche hazard exists at all times. Snow immersion hazard may exist. Stay out of roped areas. Low snow conditions have altered the terrain, please use caution. We also want you to be aware that due to conditions, you'll need to expect extended rescue times.
--------------------------
Spring Passes are now available for purchase on our website, at the resort, and at Meadows PDX! Valid every day we operate through the end of the 2025-26 season. Read our blog for complete details.
We have a limited number of overnight RV parking spots in the Sunrise lot. They're on a first-come, first-served basis. RV parking is available Wednesday through Tuesday afternoon at 4 PM and closed on Tueday nights - this is for snow removal and will help create space for your RVs. RV parking will be available after 6 AM on Wednesday mornings. Please stay away from all equipment in the area.
